Focus Media Arts Center is a non-profit organization that aims to develop and promote Ethiopian film and video production. The center offers a three-year media arts program that includes lectures on filmmaking, editing, animation and sound design. Students can also access equipment such as cameras and computers for independent projects. The school has been working with local universities to recruit students who have completed their high school diplomas but do not have any skills related to filmmaking or video production yet.

KFS is a non-profit organization that offers a three-year diploma in film and television production. It's the first film school in Uganda to offer such a program. The school was founded by David Kato, who said he wanted to create an institute that would teach students how to make films while also creating jobs for local people who needed them most.
