Olumo Rock: Right in the capital city of Ogun state, called Abeokuta, southwest Nigeria, is the Olumo Rock. The Egba people believe that Olumo Rock is a sacred site. They offer prayers and sacrifices to the gods and goddesses that they believe inhabit the rock. Olumo Rock is also another wonder of the world, an important cultural site for the Egba people.

It is the site of the annual Egba New Yam Festival and tourist from all over the world comes to celebrate the festival and to experience the Rock by climbing to see the amazing views of the city of Abeokuta from a highest that is about 137 metres above sea level. Right from this level you could see the ambience of the city and it environments. Right at the base of the rock is an art gallery which chronicles various artistic works and splendor with rich cultural history every tourists spend quality time at the gallery experiencing history in artistic paintings.
