3) Leland B. Yeager Graduate Fellowship
The Leland B. Yeager Graduate Fellowship is a graduate fellowship to help international students with PhDs and ThDs pursue post-doctoral studies in the United States. The fellowship offers full coverage of tuition, living stipend, health insurance, and other expenses for the duration of the scholarship. Awards range from $5,000 to $25,000 per year. It is open to scholars who received their doctorate or ThD outside of the US within five years prior to the date they apply and plan on residing in the US after completion of their degree program.
4) The Bill Gates Millennium Scholarship
The Bill Gates Millennium Scholarship is awarded to African American, American Indian/Alaska Native, Asian, Pacific Islander and Hispanic students who are United States citizens. This scholarship offers recipients up to $25,000 per year for up to four years of undergraduate study. The Gates Millennium Scholarship is granted through the United States Department of Education.
5) American Legion Auxiliary American Poppy Scholarship
The American Legion Auxiliary American Poppy Scholarship is for children of veterans who have served in the military. Applicants must be from the US, have at least a 2.5 GPA, and be enrolled in or entering college as a full-time student. The scholarship awards up to $1,000 per year to eligible students.
